Drug & Alcohol Misuse

The construction industry is known for its demanding work environment, where health, safety and wellbeing is paramount. However, the misuse of drugs and alcohol poses a significant risk to all on site. The HCLG has recognized the need for a dedicated working group to address these challenges head-on.

Tracy Williams, Operations Director Occupational Health and Wellbeing Lead at Mace, is leading this new working group and has offered an open invitation to anyone who wants to join the working group.

Tracy explains, "The success of the Drugs and Alcohol working Group will hinge on the active participation and collaboration of all stakeholders. By working together, the group can leverage the collective knowledge and experience of its members to develop solutions that are both practical and effective."
